In his freetime Carson enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with friends, and playing video games. He aspires to gain more experience before deciding on a role in defensive cybersecurity or digital forensics, but continues to educate himself on other career pathways to see if anything else sounds exciting.

Cybersecurity and IoT Internships
Gained hands-on experience working in a hybrid office setting. Helped stand up a virtual lab sandbox environment, worked on RfI and RfP, made data vendor selections, helped design cybersecurity warranties, helped with decisions related to the company’s cyber platform, designed theoretical AI liability insurance, tested and debugged technical systems, and documented and developed data features. Supported the IoT Call Center, documented key issues, and completed multiple projects to improve the back end of the IoT department.
