Hello, my name is Carson Viscusi! I am a Cybersecurity Graduate Student at Old Dominion University. I am proficient in numerous programming languages, Security Blue Team Level 1 certified, and trained in network defense and incident response.
With a government research project, a cybersecurity internship, an IoT internship, and continuing education under my belt, I bring diverse experience to any team.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time with friends, and playing video games. I am interested in using my Cybersecurity Master's to contribute to meaningful work in fields such as defensive cybersecurity, digital forensics, cyber re/insurance, IT support, or any other related fields. Career History
Hartford Steam Boiler
Cybersecurity and IoT Internships
Gained hands-on experience working in a hybrid office setting. Helped stand up a virtual lab sandbox environment, worked on RfI and RfP, made data vendor selections, helped design cybersecurity warranties, helped with decisions related to the company’s cyber platform, designed theoretical AI liability insurance, tested and debugged technical systems, and documented and developed data features. Supported the IoT Call Center, documented key issues, and completed multiple projects to improve the back end of the IoT department.
